Why Support SkillsUSA?

Students participating in SkillsUSA programs are the future workforce and the future leaders of our country. Nationally, SkillsUSA enjoys support from more than 1,100 corporations, business associations and labor organizations. Through business and industry support, SkillsUSA is able to support the mission of preparing its members to become high quality, world-class workers and responsible American citizens.

What are the Leadership and Skills Championships?

The SkillsUSA Colorado Leadership and Skills Championships serves as the state-level competition for public high school and postsecondary technical students enrolled in trade, technical and skilled service professional instructional programs. Students from around Colorado who competed at their District level competitions convene each Spring to go head-to-head in leadership and skill events in their chosen fields. First place winners have the opportunity to compete at the national level in the summer at the National Leadership and Skills Competition in Kansas City, MO. Students attending the two-day state-level event showcase their leadership and skills as well as meet and network with industry leaders.
