Why Support SkillsUSA?
Students participating in SkillsUSA programs are the future workforce and the future leaders of our country. Nationally, SkillsUSA enjoys support from more than 1,000 corporations, business associations and labor. Through business and industry support, SkillsUSA is able to support our mission to help members become worldclass workers and responsible American citizens.
What are the Leadership and Skills Championships?
The Colorado SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Championships is the state-level competition for public high school and postsecondary technical students enrolled in trade, technical and skilled service professional instructional programs. Students from across Colorado who competed at their District level convene each Spring to compete in leadership and skill events in their chosen field. First place winners have the opportunity to compete at the national level. Students at the two day event showcase their leadership and skills as well as meet and network with industry leaders. First place winners advance to the national competition held each summer in Kansas City.
